Wow! Bancroft Nursing home has migrated from Allen Street to Hammond. I use to deliver newspapers to the residence of the orignal building at Allen & Main. I remember this building; wasn't it a VFW at one time?
My mother was a member of the auxiliary there - in fact my wedding reception was held there.
