The panorama below is a drawing made from a photograph in a book entitled "Worcester 1882" (Worcester Public Library has a copy).

One of those pics doesn't look like Worcester at all - I think it might be of Worcester, England haha

yup "Dan Davis" that one picture is Worcester England. It's title "Aerial shot of Loncoln Square from 1968, ChuckyG". But still it looks a lot like our Worcestes, Massachusetts Linconln Square.

Just a minor correction. The picture of Zion Lutheran Church is on Whitmarsh Ave. not St.

The "Aerial Shot of Lincoln Square from 1968" IS Worcester MA. You can see the old rotary in the left/center of the photo. You can also see the Worcester Auditorium, the Court House, Boys Club and Boys Trade School. Lincoln Street is coming in from the right side toward the rotary and Belmont Street is at the bottom heading towards the rotary.

Does anyone know where that 'countryside' looking photo is from? I can see a church and cemetery but don't know where it is. Thanks!

You are correct Dee. That is a shot of Lincoln Square. I can see the apartment building on Prescott Street across from Boys Trade School I lived in at that time. Used to go to the boys club all the time.
